Today was the day our unbeaten streak would come to an end.
Some miscommunication with the start time meant we weren't allowed the luxury of a warm up after our 1 hour 20 minute trip. Not ideal and was probably a sign of what was to come.
Burnt Ash made a fast start (understandably) and were 2 nil up within 10 minutes. We did manage to claw one back from a short corner with Perks finishing from the top of the D. Back in the game? No!
Burnt Ash ran out 9-1 winners, they were OK we were awful. Bad day at the office. Plenty to work on at training this week and get prepared for next weeks home game against Ashford.
