Cliftonville Men’s 1s returned to action after the Christmas break with an away trip to Tunbridge Wells, hoping to pick up where they left off before the postponement. The sharpness and fluency that had carried them into the festive period, however, proved harder to rediscover on the road.
Despite patches of strong play, Ville couldn’t quite hit their pre‑Christmas stride and were forced to settle for a 2–2 draw. Dan Vinson grabbed one of the goals, continuing his scoring form, but the moment of the afternoon belonged to Archie Adams. Called up late to the squad, he marked his first appearance for the men’s 1s with a well placed deflection past the keeper. A standout highlight of the day.
Not the result Cliftonville were chasing, but a valuable point nonetheless, and a promising glimpse of the depth stepping up within the squad.
